We are going to PARIS!!!! YIPPPEEEE, we are leaving next friday for 3 days in Paris. I can't wait. None of us speak any French so it should be quite interesting to figure out what we are going to eat while we are there LOL!! I am sure that the area we will be in there will be many people that can speak English, atleast i hope! I am not fond of taking my youngest but its better than not going at all!!!

Have an wonderful time! I went when I was in the 10th grade and had a blast. I would get an English-French dictionary to help you order food, but other than that there should be enough people speaking French. What are you planning on doing while there? Hmmm....can't really think of kid-friendly activities in Paris, so you'll have to post back and let us know what you did with the kids. And pictures...of course, we want pictures!

P.S. How are you getting there? Are you taking the Chunnel?

I'm so excited for you! I went during my junior year of high school and it is, literally, awesome! You can walk around the city with your mouth hanging open over all the incredible architecture, art, people, food...and on and on. Did your dh put his foot down about the vacation time? I expect a million and one pictures to be posted. We'll be disappointed if you don't.

Wonderful! I went to Paris on my honeymoon. (Think - April in Paris). It was terrific. Don't worry about speaking French. Everyone spoke English.
I really had the best food there - tried all sorts of exotic dishes - quail, rabbit, frog's legs and steak tartar.
