Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Oh my gosh!!!!!!!!! my daughter drew on the wall on my stairwell with blue crayon. I bought this and all you do it wet it and wipe - everything comes off. It is truly MAGIC. Wow I wish that these were out when oldest daughter was drawing on my walls it would have saved me time, money and the hassle of re-painting everything. It even fades away small scratches. If any of you other moms have used one before you know what I man.

I totally agree! I always say they are a MIRACLE. I use them all of the time for any stubborn scuffs, markings, etc. They are wonderful!!!!

By Amecmom on Friday, June 11, 2004 - 11:41 am:

They are great on upholstry, too. Just test first, because they can rub off some color.

I wiped down my cabinets and baseboards. You would be surprised how much better they look - even compared to using a regular sponge.

By Emily7 on Friday, June 11, 2004 - 12:18 pm:

I wondered if they worked, I will have to try them

By Trina~moderator on Friday, June 11, 2004 - 12:19 pm:

They're GREAT! text description

By Angellew on Friday, June 11, 2004 - 01:03 pm:

I've used them on my DD sneakers and it works great!!! I never thought of the cabinets though!!! Trying that tonight!

By Palmbchprincess on Friday, June 11, 2004 - 02:29 pm:

Are they really as good as everyone raves? My girlfriend, who has a house full of kids and pets at any given time, SWEARS by them. I need to pick some up. Will they get sneakers white again along the bottom? Nate has a pair of all white KSwiss begging to be cleaned. LOL

By Babysitbarb on Friday, June 11, 2004 - 04:01 pm:

I was surprised how well they work. I usually will try new things when they come out with them and most of the times Im not very pleased with the new stuff.I actaully used mine today. I had made an smart ones pizza in the microwave last night and left it in to long and I had to peel the box off the bottom.(you set the pizza on the box to cook it. Anyways, I used one of those microwave wipes and forgot to take it out last night and it was there when I went to rewarm something this afternoon. So I thought I would try the magic eraser sponge and it took it right off.I like it for walls also. Never thought about sneakers.

By Dana on Friday, June 11, 2004 - 05:37 pm:

I use mine on the textured frige. Our magnets leave all sorts of ugly black marks. I used to scrub forever and really hard, but w/ the magic eraser, it comes off without effort.

By Annie2 on Friday, June 11, 2004 - 06:53 pm:

They took off permanant marker off my son's wall! I love them!

By Palmbchprincess on Friday, June 11, 2004 - 07:00 pm:

We are sold!!! The sneakers look brand new, and it took the grime off the fridge handle. They are so inexpensive, and I am impressed!

By Tink on Friday, June 11, 2004 - 08:10 pm:

OK I'm going to get these tomorrow morning. I can't believe they are that great but I know you ladies have put them through alot before they will get your recomendation.

By Danenbellsmom on Saturday, June 12, 2004 - 12:28 am:

I have to agree with the magic erasers. They get every stain ive had to deal with out on the walls. Everyone who has kids, this is a necessity!

By Kernkate on Saturday, June 12, 2004 - 01:04 am:

I am going to have to try these...with a 3yo and a 9yo it night be a good investment...

By Momaroze on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 - 06:09 pm:

I will have to try them! If I find a product I absolutely love I will post too! Thanks.

By Mommyathome on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 - 07:22 pm:

Ditto the Magic Erasers!!!!

By Mara on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 - 07:34 pm:

I use them to clean the stove top. They are great for getting up stuck on grease! I love them!

By Angela on Thursday, June 17, 2004 - 09:16 am:

The only thing they don't do is take crayon or sticker residue off of hardwood floors! (DD and play date ran out of paper!) But, 409 spray does and it didn't seem to damage them.

By Bellajoe on Thursday, June 17, 2004 - 11:55 am:

I posted about how great these were a while back. They are great for getting crayon off the walls.

By Ginny~moderator on Thursday, June 17, 2004 - 06:31 pm:

I mentioned this product to one of my coworkers and asked if she had heard of it. She said, with this beatific smile on her face, "I love it". I will certainly get one this weekend and try it on my sneakers for starters.

By Cat on Thursday, June 17, 2004 - 06:47 pm:

Ohmagosh, I had some of these under the kitchen sink (can't even remember when or why I bought them) and I just pulled them out and they cleaned the handles of my fridge instantly! Now the kids are tackling spots on the walls. Anything that gets the kids to clean is a great thing! lol

By Vicki on Thursday, June 17, 2004 - 08:12 pm:

Well, this had been added to my shopping list!! I can't wait to try it out!

By Amecmom on Thursday, June 17, 2004 - 08:25 pm:

I have old kitchen counters that stain if you look at them funny. The only way to keep them clean was to keep spraying them with a bleach based cleaner. Now, I use these with just water! So much quicker and environmentally friendly.
Has anyone tried them on grout? That's my next experiment.

some of you may remember when my dd decorated my keyboard for christmas with sharpie marker, I tried everything to get it off with not much luck, I used the magic eraser and it worked great. Too bad the keyboard doesn't work anymore,(but thats a different story) ha ha! Its a great product.

By Gammiejoan on Monday, June 21, 2004 - 09:14 pm:

I bought some of these over the weekend and decided to try them this morning. Well, I am completely sold on them! Even with all I had read here, I never imagined that they would work so well. I bought a four pack, and I need to go back tomorrow to get some more. I got a little carried away and used them on everything I could think of. First I did the refrigerator, and it looks brand new now. Next I cleaned the stove top and the hood over the stove. Next I cleaned the counter tops in my kitchen and in the bathroom. Then I decided to try it on my bathtub. During the past couple of months, I thought I had tried every product imagineable on that tub with very little improvement. Well, that eraser did the job; and I was amazed about how easy it was. I kept bragging about it to my husband to the point where he kiddingly suggested that I call the company about doing a commercial for them.

By Palmbchprincess on Monday, June 21, 2004 - 11:22 pm:

Ok, I found another AMAZING product!!! Again Mr. Clean, the auto-dry car wash thingy. I was really hesitant to buy it, but our vehicles were FILTHY, and Nate had been eying it up every time we went shopping. The cars are totally clean, and they air dried with NO spots or streaks! I really thought this thing would be a waste of money, but was figuring it has a money back guarentee so ok. Well, it was worth the $20 for the starter, and each refill does about 10 washes. Anyone else try it??

By Truestori on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 - 03:56 pm:

Crystal,

I am off to buy one...LOL

Is it easy to use? I seen these at Target and I had a coupon but I was hesitant...You convinced me!

By Momaroze on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 - 04:14 pm:

I cannot find Mr. Clean magic erasers!!

Where are they sold. Can you buy them at Wallmart?

Hmmmm.

By Palmbchprincess on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 - 04:59 pm:

Stori, it was a breeze! Nate hooked it up to the hose, the switch to change from plain water, to soap, to the deionized rinse water can be operated one handed. He had a mitt on one hand and used the machine with the other. Spray, scrub, rinse, and then at the end spray the whole car with the rinse water at the end. We did my SUV and his car in half an hour! :) Let me know what you think!!

By Ginny~moderator on Sunday, July 25, 2004 - 03:26 pm:

I got some and tried them and find they do very well. But my son just used one to get a wine spill off his white sneakers and says "cool"!

By Feona on Monday, July 26, 2004 - 06:11 am:

Crayon off the walls. "Goof Off" took off the paint. This is much better! We have alittle artist around here! I think i will try one on my old kitchen floor. I have to report back.

I got them in the stop and shop.

By Boxzgrl on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 - 09:50 pm:

I just had to find this post because I know Mr. Clean Magic Erasers were mentioned here before but....

OMG, I've NEVER deep cleaned my bathtub and doors in LESS than 10 minutes! :) I'm off to spot clean the house... just for fun! :) :) :)

So, those of you who have yet to try these, what are you waiting for??? They're GREAT!

By Ginny~moderator on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 - 10:36 pm:

They have a new version now, with a scrubby side and a cleaning side. I'm going to try them next.

By Karen~moderator on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 - 07:55 am:

I have been looking all over for these things and can't find them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By Colette on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 - 09:13 am:

They are usually with the laundry detergents.

By Conni on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 - 09:50 am:

OK, I am sold. I have to go to the store today so I will try to find these. :)

By Fionadeassis on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 - 10:12 am:

Does it scratch your tub though? I used it to get crayon off a table and it took off the finish(an old crappy table so I don't actually care)...

But my tub is super dirty with built up hard water scum type stuff....I am dreading to clean it(I always use comet).....but uf the spinge works really good I will go for it...

Sorry for all the typos I am just really tired and havin't had my moring tea yet....zzzzzzzzzz

By Mrsheidi on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 - 11:18 am:

Yea, i think it just smudged my existing wall paint so that it looks like it disappeared but really i think it just "blended" it. ???

By Lorebunde on Thursday, October 13, 2005 - 03:27 pm:

Am I doing so mething wrong? They didn't work THAT well for me? My daughter had used a name stamp on walls, etc. It did c ome off but I really had to scub hard. I guess I was expecting to just a quick wipe? Maybe I got the sponge too wet?
