Just wanted to quickly thank all of you for welcoming me and sharing your experiences with me. I went to the doctor and she feels that I was carrying twins....and for some crazy reason I lost one of them.....most likely this was due to genetic abnormalities. The good news is that my spotting has stopped and I have a healthy growing baby inside me. I have so many mixed emotions...sadness for the one I lost and elation for the thriving baby. Again thanks to all who responded!

Lisa, this happened to me with my first dd. It was really hard but I was so thankful that one of them made it. Even after 6 1/2 years it still hits me hard occasionally. There are twins in my dd's class this year and one is named Abigail (the name we had planned on.) I get sad on the date I miscarried her but my dh is wonderful about it and gives me a white rose every year. Ok, I 'm going to go have a moment. Take care of yourself and that baby! ((hugs))

Lisa, I agree with Emily. Many women have this happen and have no clue. They mark it off as a bad monthly and go on with their lives. I am not trying to sound negative. Just saying that you have been given a gift. enjoy it.. don't question what happened and why just be thankful that it happened the way it did.

Better watch it or you will be addicted. LOL
