Feingold Program

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive April 2004: Feingold Program
By Cat on Monday, April 26, 2004 - 10:05 pm:

I was going to put this on the special needs board, but this board gets more traffic. Does anyone have any experience with this program/diet? I'm doing some research about it and would like to learn all I can about it. On their website you can order their "kit". It's $76 with shipping! Dh says it's a crock. Anyway, any info or experience would be great. Not saying we're going to try it, but if it could be worth it, we might. TIA :)

I don't know much about it, but do know that people of the special needs lists I'm on have had good things to say about it. Have you joined any of those list?? Our Kids is the best!

I'm not on any special needs lists. I do visit bpkid.com and it was mentioned there, but posts there disappear quickly (they're in order of original post, not responses). Where would I find a list for ADHD/Bipolar? Thanx, Marcia. :)

I typed a response earlier and lost it. GRRRRRRR!

I'm on the free email list with Feingold.

My boss's youngest son is ADHD and has a host of allergies. He is grown now but when I met him he was a young child. My boss's wife was very involved with Feingold and used the diet exclusively and it made a world of difference for their son. It's amazing what different dyes and food additives do to a person. The Feingold diet works.

Here's a link to the web site for Our Kids. There are parents there with kids with all kinds of special needs...

Also, if you do a search at yahoogroups, you'll find lists for anything and everything.
