My cousin phoned Ds yesterday pretending to be the Easter Bunny because Ds has been bugging me to get the Easter Bunnies phone number...

He told Eliah to be a good boy and go to sleep early so he could bring a basket of goodies...but he said it yesterday-so Ds insisted the Easter Bunny was coming last night....

I explained that it was on Sunday morning, not Saturday....I thought he understood. Last night at 4:30AM, he woke up and insisted that he heard the Easter Bunny hopping in the back yard!

He was kicking up a fuss and crying and yelling because he wanted to go in the back yard and see him! I kept saying.."it's tomorrow not tonight-you must have heard a cat.." then I tried..."if you make too much noise you will scare him away. maybe he is checking out our yard for good hiding places..."

Poor Ds.....he was so excited and so sad....it took him an hour to get back to sleep...


And guess who NEVER went back to sleep......

OMG-I would have been so mad! LOL not at my child but whoever made the phone call. that had to have been hard to explain...well i hope he doesnt wake up through the night tonight to try to see the bunny. he will be excited though to see his basket tomorrow when he wakes up! it is cute though and i am sure you will laugh about it next year.

The Easter Bunny actually did come to our house last night instead of tonight. The kids are currently busy in their Easter baskets. It's good entertainment LOL

We are supposed to go to the canyon for an Easter egg hunt and picnic, but it's freezing outside and looks like it's going to rain!

LOL my daughter informed me today that she snuck out of her bed one Easter and saw me talking to the easter bunny!!!! She says i was telling him what she wanted, LOL....i guess she had a nice dream...no reason to let her down LOL
