Favorite theme park....

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive March 2004: Favorite theme park....

Ok, I know I'm posting a lot, lol, I'm waiting on tax returns to print out;)

What's your favorite theme park?

We really enjoy Paramount's Kings Dominion in Virginia. One year we had season passes and it seemed like we went their twice a month! They have a wonderful water park. I would love season passes this year but dh doesn't think that Alyssa is old enough to survive a day without putting up a fuss... It is over 2 hours away.

We also really enjoyed Sea World in Orlando, but of course we don't get there that often.

The closest amusement park to us(central IN) is Paramount's King's Island in OH. It's fun, but I've been there ever summer since I was 4. So, it sort of gets old. My favorite park(s) would be The Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios and Universal Studios. I've only been to those twice, maybe that's why I like them so much.

I like busch gardens in VA. We had season passes for there and Water country (which i love as well). I have been to kings dominion a lot too. I just love rides!! Especially roller coasters. I think Kings dominion is better if you have kids. I think Busch Gardens is better suited for adults! I went to disney world as a kid and i am looking forward to going to euro-disney soon!

In Ohio, I would have to say Cedar Point is my favorite!! We really had a great time at Bush Gardens in Tampa too!!

We are close to Six Flags at Gurnee, IL. I haven't been there since 1986! It's just so expensive. Sarah got to go there last year with her 8th grade class and wouldn't ride any of the roller coasters!

We love Disney too but for a great park that is close enough to visit every year we love Kenneywood Park in Pittsburgh, PA.

We take Nichole to Water Country when she's here. She and her Mom love the place. I like Busch Gardens, especially during Howl-o-Scream. Our son's family go to Kennywood a lot. They love it. I love Universal in Florida. I think it's a more adult park than Disney, but when Nichole is with us we go to Disney more.

Sea World San Diego and Six Flags Magic Mountain. I like Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios etc... but have been to all WAY too many times. You know, one of those So. Cal. advantages!?!? :)
