Need something green "recipe"

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive March 2004: Need something green "recipe"

I need a recipe to make something green for a party I am going to next week.
Any creative ideas which would be easy for a party?
Thanks!

This is a big hit at church gatherings--and it's super easy.

Mix together 16oz Cool Whip, a 15oz can of crushed pineapple (with juice), and one box of pistatio pudding.

That's it! Sounds kind of wierd, but people love it. I've made it a few times and never brought any leftover home. Have fun! :)

Oh, and it's best to make it in advance. It tastes better if it's had time to sit (at least a few hours). :)

We make the same thing that Cat mentioned :) Sometimes we add marshmallows for kids.

How do you serve it? Like a pudding?

By Mommyathome on Thursday, March 18, 2004 - 06:12 pm:

Yes, like a pudding :)

Yum! We add a cup of marshmallows and fruit cocktail to it, too! We love pistachio fruit salad!
