I have Norton Anti Virus as well as firewall on my computer. Working great, but I have a question. It scans all incoming email and had caught some virus ones and blocked them! Great thing!! BUT, it won't let me open ANY email that has an attachment! Even thought it scans it and doesn't find a virus, I can't view them. I am sure there is a setting I can change, but I have played around and can't find it. I use Outlook Express. Can anyone tell me what I need to do?? Thanks!!
In Outlook Express, go to Tools, then Options, then click on the Security tab. Uncheck the box that says "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus."

We recently bought norton antivirus & firewall & I cannot get it work i have unistalled & reinstalled it & still does not work i have delayed in calling the help line cause they charge $20 a call, but i is there something that maybe i am not doing right i right click on it & then click open but nothing happens!
I had a lot of trouble also when I first got the Norton Antivirus 2004. I had to uninstall it and install a couple times each. Then we bought some new software and when we tryed installing it I had the same problem over again but, worked and worked until it finally straightened out.
Veronica, have you tried just double left clicking on the icon? I can't think of anything else...
i tried that it just does not seem to work . i am going to try & unistall it AGAIN & reinstall it AGAIN. hopefully it will work this time ??
