This little rodent is amazing. He's starting to nibble food, and is looking more active...I can't believe this is the same "dead" animal from last Wednesday!

No, I don't have a digital camera, or I would! I put his wheel back in his cage last night, in case he felt the need to exercise, and this morning he was walking on it. He moves as though he's had a stroke, though... his hind end doesn't seem to want to cooperate, and he staggers. But other than that, he's bright-eyed and reasonably active. I told him to keep exercising, that it was good physical therapy! LOL

Well, I tried to find a picture on a web site that might look like him, but was unsuccessful. He's bigger than your "normal" hamster (I'd say about 5 inches long and 3 across) and has VERY long hair, especially around the rear end (Jess calls it "butt fur") He's gray and very cute, too. As you can tell, I love the little rodents!
