I just learned my dil's nephew, who joined the AF several months ago, is hospitalized for a brain tumor with complications of meningitis. I got several emails all at once from his grandmother, my dil's mother. The most recent one says he has had the surgery, the meningitis has been taken care of, he is off the breating tube, is awake part of the time and taking fluids.

My co-mother-in-law (my dil's mother) is singing the praises of the military "family" who, she says, have been rallying around wonderfully.

Prayers for Kevin, please. I've spent time with him at family holiday get-togethers, and he is a fine young man.

lots of prayers here...my dh had spinal meningitis when I was pregnant with ds. Its a very scary thing.
