Yawning

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive February 2004: Yawning

Has anyone ever had a yawning problem? No matter what i am doing or where i am i just can't stop yawning. My jaw is hurting from all the yawning. I get enough sleep and don't feel tired but it won't stop.

From what I understand about yawning, it sounds like your body isn't getting enough oxygen. Is your breathing shallow?

I've heard the same thing. When you yawn it's because your breathing has changed...maybe try taking some deep inhales once in awhile?

Yawning is because you don't have enough oxygen in your brain, so changing your breathing might help. You should talk to you doctor, because it may be something he can pinpoint.

I've had the same problem in the past, but it is weird. I have to yawn, but it just won't come out all the way...does that make sense to you ?

btw, i've been yawning the whole time i've been reading and typing this. Why is it that when someone yawns, or you just think about yawning, you start yawning? Yaaaawwwnn..

:)
