...now have matching earrings! He's been asking for a couple months now to get his ear pierced (again--tried a couple years ago and he wouldn't keep it clean). So yesterday we went to Wal-Mart and I let him pick a pair out. I figured no sense wasting the other earring by letting it sit in a drawer so I got my left cartilage pierced, too! He picked the white gold because it "looks like a rainbow." I was surprised because mine didn't hurt at all when she pierced it, although I couldn't sleep on it last night! lol Robin sat on my lap when she did his and he didn't jump or say ouch or anything. He did say it hurt a little though. I'll have to have dh take our picture and post it later (they're both still in bed!). Just thought I'd share.

Thursday for Great Grandmas 90th birthday party.
It`s so cool that they can make it.

Sue, I was surprised that it didn't hurt AT ALL! I'm not kidding! I felt the girl put the gun on my ear, position the earring and then I felt a little pressure when she put it through, but seriously, no pain. I fully expected it to hurt from what others have told me. It was a pleasant surprise. It is tender today and probably will be until it heals up a bit. I like it, though.

The weather here has been great the past few days. Today's in the 40's and the next couple days are supposed to be in the 50's. Then back in the 40's on Thursday and snow that night.

When I got my ears peirced it was done in the doctor's office with a huge needle. My sister and I were waiting to go in, and a another set of sister's went in ahead of us, and one girl had peed her pants, that scared the life out of us!! But we did it anyway and all was fine. My oldest daughter is planning on yet another ear ring, she first wanted one in her tongue, which we said no way, but comprimised with another earring.
