TAX REFUND DELAYED....GRRRRRRR

I used completetax.com to file our refund electronically like we did last year w/no problem, and was supposed to have a direct deposit refund go through today. It is going to be delayed and processed manually because complete tax scr**ed up and submitted it twice, so now we have a "duplicate return filed" and it will have to be processed as an "amended" return. GRRRRRRRRRRR. Today is our wedding anniversary, and instead of relaxing and getting ready to go out tonight, I have spent forever on the phone with the IRS, and also the bill people that I was planning on paying today Just had to vent...

I'm so sorry, I know I used a different one this year and got mine e-filed for free and I'm terribly sorry. I can't imagine them filing twice

Grrr....that would make me mad too. Ours have been filed and refunded and mostly spent already.

I would definitely complain to completetax.com and to the IRS. The IRS approves these sites for tax filing and they should know that this site screwed up. I agree, a bummer. Not only the delay, but all the hassle. completetax.com should be handling at least some of the hassle for you, if they aren't.
