Freeze Fudge?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive February 2004: Freeze Fudge?

Can you freeze fudge? A friend of ours made a whole bunch of peanut butter and chocolate fudge and if I don't do something with it I'll have to throw it out. I don't want to eat it right now (trying to lose that last 10lbs!). How long will it last? It's already been sitting on the counter for about a week or little longer. TIA :)

I have a recipe for fudge and you can freeze it.
Wrap the fudge well in plastic wrap and foil; freeze for up to 1 month. Allow fudge to thaw in the refrigerator before serving.

I'm not sure about how well it will be since it's been sitting out. My recipe says to serve fudge immediately or chill until ready to serve. HTH

Guess it can't hurt to try. Thanx, Carol! :)
