Heat Wave - or at least, more comfortable temperatures!

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive February 2004: Heat Wave - or at least, more comfortable temperatures!

Well, maybe for a little while today, anyway! We got up to 19!!!!!! I couldn't believe how nice that felt! Even this evening, I ran out to tie up the dog without a jacket on and I wasn't freezing. (just in and out-less than a minute)

Tomorrow is even better with temps in the 20's!! The news people were joking about suntan lotion and beach towels! (OK, maybe not THAT warm!)

That's what they said on our news tonite, too. Put on the sunscreen for Monday, when it's going to be around the freezing mark. It's been so far below for so long, that for sure it will feel like a heat wave!! I just hope that's the last of the deep freeze!!

"Ran out to tie up the dog"....how long did poochie feel the heat wave of 19 degrees????
I'm sure just long enough to poop and pee...I hope. :)

We might actually hit ABOVE the freezing mark Tuesday and Wednesday. I am so ready for spring...

She's got a thick coat! I don't think she minds being outside at all. The other night when it was way below zero and I expected her to do her business and come right back, she stayed out there for 20 minutes and came in shivering. What a goofus!

She loves being outside when we shovel snow!

We are supposed to be just above freezing for the whole week!! That will feel wonderful!
I agree Colette....I'm ready for spring too :) Once the holidays are over I look forward to green grass and flowers in bloom!

My house thermometer was 32 the last time I checked it!

One of our dogs loves to be outside when it's cold, too. But cold for us is normally in the low 50,s.
19 is tooooo cold!
Try to stay warm :)

19 isn't cold at all!!!! Not when you have been down to -10. Actually 19 is cold the first time around, but when it's been EVEN colder, then the teens actually feel balmy!

Today is was just a bit below freezing today, and it was beautiful! I just had my polar fleece sweater and running shoes on. It was -35 last week, so this is like summer!!
