Laundry Question

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive January 2004: Laundry Question
By Shellyg on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 - 10:04 pm:

Some of my white tee's are turning a dingy grey color. Some of them are very delicate, is there anything besides bleach I can use to whiten them?
Thanks Laundry Queens!

A trick that's always worked for me with dingy whites is to add a capful of Calgon water softener to the wash ;) HTH

What about blueing (sp?) I have a bottle of Mrs. Stewart's and use it whenever something starts too look really dingy.

I should try the Calgon. My white nursing pants are a little dingy. (not to mention have just a little bit of road crud splashed on them near the bottom.)
