Hey Ladies,

My cousin who is studying to be a chef just informed me that to remove stains such as blood, red wine, chocolate and other hard to remove stains she adds about 1/4 C. liquid cascade to her wash. I've got some hard stains that I can't wait to try it on.

Thanks, Kristie! I'll try it too.

Be aware that cascade contains bleach and can spot colored clothing. Just make sure it is disolved before adding clothes.

Just was going to throw out a favorite sweat shirt. Maybe I will try before burying the poor thing.

I've been using the regular Cascade to get stains out for years. It doesn't *always* work, but I wonder if the liquid will work better??

She said she uses it to get anything and everything that is on her chef's uniform off. Her top is white but her pants are black and white checkered and she says they come out of the wash looking brandnew. I don't think it would hurt to try if you were going to throw it out anyways.

I'm going to get some of the liquid stuff to use in the washer! LOL

My dd11 spilled some hot chocolate on a sweatshirt. I put some dishwashing liquid on it and it all came out! (I mean the handwashing stuff, not the machine washing stuff).
