I have a question about missed pills. I got my period on Jan 06. I am supposed to start my pill pack on Friday, which would have been the 9th, but I forgot, so I started it on Saturday, Jan 10th, where I only took one pill. Then I forgot another on on Thursday Jan 15, but took two the next day. So my question is should I worry about the one day late start? I read the instructions abut missing one and it says if you take two the next day it is okay. I didn't think that starting one day late would matter, but now I am starting to worry. Any advice?

I don't think starting one day late will matter but I would suggest that you use protection until you have taken one full pack all the way through from one cycle to the next. Meaning since you have messed up a couple of times this month. start your fresh pack on your next period and take them on time until the next cycle and then you should be okay to just use the BC with out other protection. I doubt you will end up pregnant at this point but it is better to be safe than sorry. And if you keep having problems remembering you need to put them in a certain place you always will see them and take them at the same time every day or you might want to look into the patch or something that last longer.

Ditto Bobbie. When I was on BC pills I kept them with my deoderant. That way I remembered to take my pill every morning after I got out of the shower.

I think I will just call the doc. I usually do remember to take them. I don't know what happened that week. I must have been more tired or stressed than usual. Thanks anyway.
