The pickiest eater in my family (drum role please). . . . .


My dh!


Ok get this, he worked for Admiral Kelso while he was in the Navy. Admiral Kelso's wife would ask four of his staff to come eat at his house. She fixed squid, HE ATE IT!!!!

However, he will not eat onions. It drives me nuts. There is no onions in our house, I use onion salt and it is difficult! When we are in restaurants he will ask if something has onions in it or he will sit there, get mad and pick them out. I once bought picanta (sp?) sauce that had onions in it and he got mad saying "You know I don't like onions!"

My kids will eat just about anything I eat. Dh is the picky one and he drives me nuts sometimes!

I am so lucky no one in my house is picky. They will eat anything I cook. Heck there are things I don't like that they will both eat. The eat liver, spinich and cream style corn and I would never cook those let alone attempt to eat them.

We are very lucky here as well. My DH and kids will eat whatever!
My FIL though is another story. I don't know how my MIL puts up with it. He is so picky sometimes I think he should be a toddler. He only likes very bland things. Nothing with sauces. No gravy, no ranch, no sour cream, no soup, NOOO onions and so on. That is one of the reasons I don't have them over that often for dinner. I always stress over what to make because he likes nothing!

My Nicholas could eat the same thing days in a row i could too for that matter but i do not like onions either and my dh was brought up putting them almost everything ewww they smell so nasty they can't possible taste good lol.

My dh will try almost anything. and so will my ds (3). MY dd is very picky, but is getting better at trying things at least. I have to admit that i am kind of picky too, not as bad as some though.

I am not picky at all I LOVE FOOD!!!! too much I think...My DD is extreemly picky. She will eat meat, and pasta, sometimes applesauce if it has cinn. and warmed up. She loves cheese and milk and carbs. no veggies or potatoes, I thought all kids loved potatoes?

No onions would drive me crazy! My pickiest one is my youngest daughter. For a long time, she didn't like pizza or mac and cheese. It drove me nuts. Now, she will eat pizza, so that is good. The FIL mentioned above would drive me nuts, too. Boring food all the time. Ugh! I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to food and love to try new things.

I am the pickiest eater EVER!!! I think it is from being allergic to eggs and being very cautious of things I can eat.

It is a good thing I do all the cooking. My kids and DH eat everything, even the eggs I do make, I have NO IDEA what they taste like. LOL!!

I wonder if this bothers my DH???

I am by far the pickiest in our house. I eat NO VEGGIES at all. I am not a huge meat eater, I do like chicken and sometimes other meats. For the most part it is pasta, bread and any kind of potatoes.... So much for a low carb diet for me!!
