Does any one have any idea how to submit your own taxes, my job has turned into a contract so I have to figure out how much, I have to pay into canada pension plan, apparently I can not pay into EI . My employer handed me some figures, but I do not have a clue, where do I send it, and how do I ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I have no idea, and I want to submit what I owe to cpp and what ever else I have to pay every 2 weeks, so that I am all paid up, I do not want to wait untill the end of the year. The information I was given was 16% + 3.5% cpp= 19.5 and a little note that said, save 20% of each of my paycheques every two weeks, I would rather figure it out exactley so I do not have a nasty bill, in the end. Does anyone have a clue, how I figure this out? I need step by step instruction, calulations are not my strong point. If anyone has any background in this area I would really appreciate some help.

And here is a link to a site that seems to break down Canada taxes and laws. Looks like it might have a lot of good information for you.

Here is another calculator that looks better. Check it out. It has a free down load with it.
