I have a habit of letting the phone ring when I am in the middle of something or if it is an "unknown number". My ds made me realize just how bad my habit is...

While I was taking a bath one morning, he came in and wanted to have a "private conversation" with me, so he locked the door. As soon as my dd realized he had locked the door, she started knocking on it persistantly.

My son turned to me and very seriously stated, "Just let it ring, mommy."

Aren't kids the greatest???? hehe!

Thanks! I may do that. I know that Reader's Digest gets soooo many, but it wouldn't hurt anything to try, would it. Don't know of anymore that take things like that. Seems like one of the parenting magazines do...

That is cute, it's so funny how kids pick up things, I had a little funny with my ds a few weeks ago. My dh was in the Bathroom and his pager and phone as always was going off work can't ever leave him alone, anyway ds was at the bathroom door and heard daddy say ,"my gosh I can't even take a crap in peace" The next day dh comes home,normal routine goes to the bathroom his nextel is on the table and someone is trying to radio him, well ds, almost 3 pushes the button and tells daddys boss," leave daddy alone he's trying to take a crap in peace ok" .We haven't got as many pages this week from his work. Now hubby just gets teased at work
