Ok, Im the Matron of Honor for my husbands cousins wedding and Ive been in many weddings and know my job but, what is Etiqute for a second wedding. This is a second marriage for both of them. She has 4 children and he has none. Both of them were married the first time by the JP and she is doing an actual ceremony this time. She's only having me and his best friend be in it and her 5 year old be the flower girl. She's going to have her other 3 children give her away.
What I was wondering should I have a shower for her? They have lived together for over a year and have most of what they need. I was thinking maybe just doing a shower/bachorlette party together and using a theme. I want this to be special but, don't want people to say why is she having a shower for someone who has already been married? Please help me with some suggestions!

I think the shower/bachlorette party is an excellent idea! Themed showers have endless possibilites. I've heard of honeymoon showers(if they're going on one). Depending on where they go, they recieve gifts to take on their honeymoon(luggage, swimsuits, beach towels, sunglasses, etc). That's just one idea.
