Don't mean to be cranky:(

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive January 2004: Don't mean to be cranky:(
By Marg on Thursday, January 8, 2004 - 12:21 pm:

This is the first really cold spell our area has seen all fall/winter. We have been truly blessed.

However, yesterday (only in the teens all day) and today not much better is getting to me already.

I'm sorry if I'm cranky, but this cold, brrrr, I guess I'm looking forward to spring already:)

Marg, I feel the same way you do. The temp here now is 20 with a windchill of 12...Brrrrr. I liked when we were having the nice unseasonable weather.
I have no desire to even go outside.
My DS is home from school today with a stomach ache, which is probably a good thing with the cold and his asthma.
Think Spring:)

I hear you guys it has just started and sick of the cold already!!!!Right now it is -4 and I'm not sure about the wind chill but it is extreamly windy so windy my car door flew open just as I opened it! I hate that. Well keep warm all sip on some tea, coffee or hot coco and cuddle up with a warm blanket, and relax. Can you tell I'd rather be home than at work today?!

WOW -4 and here me and Marg are complaining.LOL..thats darn right frigid!!!!

By Marg on Thursday, January 8, 2004 - 12:49 pm:

Too cold, is it me or as you get older the cold just seems to get to you?

My mom used to say the same thing. She always got depressed to see the winter months come. She loved working outside in her flower beds.

Ok, I cant complain like most of you. But, it is only 36 today, yes warm compared to most of you. BUT, just this past Sunday it was 76...Yes a shock. I did spend my first 29 yrs in Chicago, but I STILL and always WILL hate cold weather. I get depressed during the winter months too, I live for summer!
