Obituary

This is the grandson of friends of ours. He was murdered New Year's Eve in front of his home.
Please pray for his family. They are devastated.

Oh my gosh, what a horrible and shocking story!

My condolences.

Bea- How Horrible!! That poor family, and what a senseless waste!
It's almost like he was TOO GOOD for this world.

My prayers are with his loved ones.

PS That WAS a lovely wording, about a "higher purpose". I had never seen that before.

That is so sad. You tell your kids to just walk away but it doesn't always work that way. I wish in this case, they'd all just left. How very sad for those remaining. Not a very good start to 2004. More and more evil in this world! :(

Oh Bea, this is just awful. I will pray for the family of this young man. I know at this time what they are going thru.

By Missy3 on Thursday, January 8, 2004 - 08:42 am:

That is the most horrifying thing Bea. I am sorry and send all my prayers to your friends. He has such a beautiful name!

Guns must be an issue that needs to be addressed. I am sure out forefathers did not intend for people to go around shooting others when they created the Constitution.

It outrages me to no end that kids carry guns. Maybe communication should be a class kids are required to take every year in school? Also, put prayer back in school! Whatever religion as long as these kids know they have faith in something.

That is tragic. It makes me feel so sad for his friends and family. Another needless, pointless end to a young promising life..........

I am at a loss on what to say to these dear old friends. They recently moved just to be close to where he attended school. He was the apple of their eyes. I can't even imagine losing my grandchild like this.

By Gammiejoan on Thursday, January 8, 2004 - 07:42 pm:

How sad, Bea! I will be praying for the family.

By Bobbie on Thursday, January 8, 2004 - 09:54 pm:

Prayers from me too....

By Kernkate on Friday, January 9, 2004 - 08:37 am:

Bea, its seems there is just nothing to say at a time like this to ease what they are going through. Just be there to support them. I know after Josh passing away, our friends were and continue to be our best support.
Prayers to everyone in this young mans family who is going through this difficult time.
We never realize how terrible it is to lose a young life until it hits home.
