Raining

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive January 2004: Raining
By Mrse on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 - 07:11 pm:

Hi, we have had a snow warning for two days, and now, as predicted it is raining. We live in the city, and the snow plow came by and covered in our car, so dh was out thier early this morning, trying to get us out. All the schools, and some businesses closed it's doors for today, so I ended up with a day off, dh figured that our car would not get through the snow, I told my boss I could walk in, and she said don't bother, as their was not much to do anyway. It is just pouring here right now, and I am so glad I was able to stay home, I have a chest cold, and feeling a bit tired anyway.

I hope you're feeling better soon. Dd has something wrong with her, they told me it was a virus!

I don't like rain in the winter. We live in the mountains and it usually turns to ice and then we lose power:(

Yah that is common, for it to snow, and then rain heavly untill it is all gone. The city trucks are out their working hard , taking the snow away, worried about our drain outside the house on the street, but dh does not want to uncover it, as it is under a pile of snow, that is huge, don't blame him, I am sure the city guys will take the snow away so the drain can work. This cold is working up into my sinius and my eyes hurt.
