Thanks! I ran it threw the washing machine 3 times already.

Have you tried a de-greaser? They sell different ones in the grocery store or in Walmart, etc., some are specifically for laundry, and some are actually in the automotive section. I've actually gotten grease spots out of some things with Resolve, but it doesn't work on everything.

This question came up while I was at the school uniform store last month. They said to put a bit of liquid dish detergent on the grease spot before washing it since that stuff lifts grease up and out - of dishes, clothes, whatever.

I use liquid dish washing detergent. I apply it directly to the stain and rub it in and let it sit for a little while before washing. Sometimes it takes a couple of applications and washes, but it works better at removing grease stains than anything else I've tried and believe me, since my dh is a mechanic, I have to deal with grease stains a lot. I even keep a bottle of Dawn in my laundry room just for laundry.:)

I have found a great stain remover. Its called Mean Green and I get it at my local dollar general store. It cost me $5 a gallon. Its great for cleaning everything. I use it on all spots before I put the clothes in the washer. Its great for mopping floors. Its a really good all purpose cleaner.
My DH is a mechanic and it takes the grease off of his clothes.

dd got grease on one of her outfits from being out in the garage and I used oxiclean to treat the stain and it came out really well. You can also soak it in the sink with liquid Tide. Between the Tide and the Oxi Clean I have gotten some tough stains out of the kids clothes.
