Anyone having it that cold? I took Ollie out and when he returned (a VERY short time later) I went to pet him and his little beard was frozen!!! It was stiff anyway. :) Now he has warmed up and it is soft hair again. Wonder what it does to other parts? :) He could freeze his you know what off! My ds took my car this morning because his car doors were frozen shut. My car was in the garage. :) Here in Dayton and around we had flooding. Our basement flooded and oh, what a mess! Now it's just plain freezing!!!!!!!!

LOL...poor Ollie. It has been very cold here too. between -10 and -15 each night. Yesterday our thermometer made it all the way up to 4 degrees :) LOL (We are in Utah BTW) This is definitely too cold for me. I love winter, but this is nuts!
We bring our "outside dog" into the basement at night because we are afraid she'll freeze to death!
The deer are also everywhere. They've come down off the mountain because of the cold and snow.
Hoping for a *slight* warm-up!

Something else funny! When I took Ollie out again, he barked at something and I noticed a shadow on the side of the house (duplex) our side and realized a man was on a ladder. I did not have on shoes and like an idiot went out there (on the grass which is frozen and still has bits of snow on it!) and asked what was going on. Neighbor called in problem. So I went in and upstairs to look out the window so I could be warmer and still find out if there was a problem (since I work on the internet, I didn't want my line messed up!) I tried like mad to open the window then noticed ice all over it. It was FROZEN shut!!! Man, it is cold!!! :) He left about then, so guess the phone is fine since mine works and I'm still online!

I know Wilber comes in with frozen hair. But he is an idiot and will plaster his face i nthe snow and run with his head down. I guess he likes the snow in his face.

It is really cold here too. -4 here with the wind chill right now.

We had -4 temp and -20-something wind chill this morning. I know my neighbor's dog spent the night outside. Honey ran down to his kennel last night and I saw Buddy walking around in his kennel this morning. He is outside all the time, but I sure would have brought him in myself last night, if he was my dog.

Of course, if he was my dog, he wouldn't be out in a kennel in the first place! LOL!

right now my computer says it's 6 degree's out. It is very COLD and very windy. I feel bad for anyone who has to be out in this any length of time.I hate Winter!

At midnight, it is 8 degrees with a -9 windchill. Brrr. I may have to go out with the dog one last time, though. I didn't think it was too bad out there, though. Just long enough to hook her on her chain and long enough to unhook her again.

This week in Nebraska we have had windchill at -18.
