I know it's not summer, but....

My dh loves basically anything with a good barbecue (that's how it's spelled on the bottle) sauce on it:) I found one I truly enjoy, I like one on the sweet, tangy side. And K C Masterpiece original hits the spot. I just baked (yes, just stuck it in the oven with nothing on it until it was done) boneless breast chicken and then added bbq sauce for about 15 minutes, it was delicious!

What is your favorite, bottle or homemade:)

He just got a new grill for Christmas so I think we will be having alot of grilled BBQ
meals in the future

oh we love Bullseye bbq sauce. YUM!! I'll eat that on anything including hamburgers.

I also love to take a plain ol bbq sauce and add some honey and mustard for some spice.

We love home-made the best! Not big bottled BBQ sauce eaters here. We would choose to marinade before adding bottled sauce.

There is a sauce that is sold in our area called Country Bob's and it is wonderful! Western Sizzlin', at least the ones locally, serve it at their restaurants, but it's bottled in a Western Sizzlin' bottle. My ds has just discovered and he's not going to be happy until I fix him more steak, so he can use it!

Annie, they sell that at our Super Walmart. And if you go to http://www.countrybobs.com they will send you a coupon for a free bottle of the stuff. I totally forgot about this sauce. Its good too!

We've tried so many, I really don't have a favorite.

BUT - if you want to try something different on chicken breasts on the grill, try getting some ginger teryaki marinade! They will come out delicious - we had those for dinner last night.

My dh found a wonderful, sizzling and yummy Louisiana sauce called Tony Chacheres. He got the brand name from a local Louisiana cuisine restaurant he and his friends found in Manhattan. This is a very popular sauce with his friends as well and dh couldn't stop raving about the perfect Louisiana flavah !!They have a website by the same name and that's where dh orders his from.

I like KC Masterpiece myself. We don't use BBQ sauce all that much. We love the Chef Magic seasonings for grilling.

My favorite recipe with KC's is to get a pork roast and rub some brown sugar over it, put it in a crock pot with a little apple juice in the bottom. (Also, 1 drop liquid smoke) Then pour some KC over the top for the smell factor. Then, when it shreds up (You can help it along with a fork) add the rest of the KC and apple juice to your liking. Then, serve on rolls. You can make coleslaw on the side and even serve it on the bun with the BBQ. Yummy! (It also freezes really well! :))

We use BBQ sauce from a place in Memphis,TN. - The Rendevous! We got addicted to it when we lived there and now nothing else really measures up. YUMMY! You can order it online, they have a wet sauce and a dry rub. It is so good! I personally put a little sauce on it and then the rub and then baste it with more sauce.
Come to think of it, I need to order more. :-)

It would help if I spelled it correctly...Rendezvous!!!

We grill all winter long the grill sits outside the back door for easier access. That is the only way we like most of our meats. I will say unfortunately this winter we don't get to because our grill finally bit the dust in November and we have to wait until spring to replace it.

We use all different types of BBQ it honestly depends on what is on sale. Or we might mix 1/4 filled bottles from the fridge and have 3 different kinds mixed together for whatever our need is.

That recipe sounds really good Eve, I'll have to try it:)
