For those of you who celebrate....what's for dinner tomorrow night?

I traditionally make latkes, but in years past we have just had then in addition to whatever we were eating. So I was curious, do you have a traditional meat that is served, like on thanksgiving?

Growing up, and still now, we have always chosen one night to celebrate Hanukkah. We all get together on a chosen night during one of the eight nights, and we have latkes (which I always make!)bagels, cream cheese, smoked salmon, a noodle dish called keugel (probably spelled that wrong!) and some yummy desserts. The kids play the dreidel game and we open gifts. Not sure yet which night we will get together this year, but it will probably be this Saturday. Of course, every night we light the menorah and say the Hanukkah prayer. Happy Hanukkah!!!

Yes,Latkes are yummy. I don't make them though. We only eat them at the Synagogue when the kids have their Hanukkah party there.Tonight is the first night, but I dont have any special dinenr planned. My husband is out of town for a few days for a funeral(hes not Jewish, so its not a big deal to him). My kids will not eat most Jewish food LOL...I make Kuegal several times a yr because they do like that.
I might make a Lasagna tonight, not a typically Hanukkah food/but it lasts a long time :)
