I came home last night. All the kids came to pick me up at the airport. I had a great time visiting my sister and bil. I missed my kids very much but I could have easily stayed for another week! lol
My sister lives in a town close to Boston. A twenty minute train ride into the city. We met for lunch, went out for dinner, went shopping in cute shops and basically I relaxed. A few days they asked me what I wanted to do and I said I am fine just being in the house, visiting and doing NOTHING.
I was able to sleep well and just be an adult; with no kids.
The kids did okay at their dad's. They watched too much tv and ate to much popcorn, dh took their bikes and didn't fill the tires until Sat. They were bored but made it through the week.
Thanks for thinking of me....now I have about ten loads of laundry to attack.
