I go on Tuesday for my follow up pap after the coloscopy (which came back abnormal too). I'm a nervous wreck but after research I've decided that if this one comes back abnormal as well I'm going to insist that something further be done. I've had 3 abnormal now since May and I just don't want to play around with this anymore.

I'll let you guys know how it all turns out once I find out.

I've been there. I hope your situation turns out like mine--it was nothing! But I think you are wise to be questioning and insistent.

When I later had surgery (for reasons other than my abnormal paps) I found support and information on Hystersisters.com. Although their home page seems to be pricipally about hysterectomies and uterine issues, I just now went there and did an on site search for "cervical" and there were several places to get started. The thing I liked was reading what other women had to say about their experiences. It helped me.
