Did you do anything special to celebrate?

By Pamt on Saturday, August 11, 2007 - 09:35 pm:

Thanks Annie. :) I'm so sorry it is probably not such a great day for you. :(

No we are doing nothing special. We were going to go to the balloon festival in town with the boys, but since it was 100 degrees at 6:30 pm tonight we decided to pass. We went to a really nice restaurant a couple of weeks ago and counted that as our anniversary dinner. We are so busy packing and getting ready to move, plus spending money hand over fist (and just found out we have termites yesterday!), that money and time are pretty tight right now. A quiet evening at home seems just about right.

I hope that you have enjoyed your sister's company today and been able to celebrate YOU!

Yes, Annie, I hope it hasn't been too bad a day for you, too.

Pam, a quiet night at home would just about be what I wanted, too. Sometimes, I would rather stay home than be out and about.

Thinking of you today, Annie, (((HUG))); and Happy Anniversary, Pam.

BTW...what do they do for termites?

Happy Anniversary, Pam!!!!!!

Hol, termites are so common down here! You need a termite exterminator, they usually drill and treat around the slab. Whatever it is they are using/doing, it gets rid of them. 10 years ago, we had them too. Fortunately, I have a termite contract with annual inspection, so it was covered. Around here, it's required to have a current termite inspection certificate when selling or re-fi'ing a home.
