Where to go for 10th Anniversery trip?

Hi everyone!

You all seem like a great group of ladies and I figure you will understand my perspective coming from being a SAHM.
We am just starting to plan our trip and would like some suggestions for our destination. We are actully going with another couple who are our best friends. Her and I are thinking tropical, all inclusive, sit by the pool with a margarita, get tan, relax, no kids. I think the guys would like to golf and maybe have a little more to do.

Some questions I have: All-inclusive vs. nice hotel?
Cruise vs. one place?
I guess just throw out some of your favorite places on Earth.

My vote...cruise. That was what we did for our 10th and we had a great time.

We had a new baby shortly before our 10th anniversary, so needless to say, we didn't go on a trip. LOL! For our 15th anniversary we returned to our honeymoon spot (Caesar's Pocono Palace) for a long weekend. We had FUN! :) We have yet to go on a cruise or any where tropical. Some day!

Alot of the all-inclusives have golf nearby.
That way you would all be covered.

Cruise or all-inclusive would be equally great.

Put me by the ocean and I'm a happy girl.

Cruise! Something for everyone on a cruise!!!

We went on our first cruise in March, and LOVED IT! We're going on another one in Feb, and can't wait!
I've never been to an all inclusive, but my sister, brother and mom all have, and they loved that, too.

Cruise or all inclusive, is my vote. The nice hotel, is nice but you still have to "think." I guess plan is a better word. With the Cruise or All-Inclusive everything is done all the fun, food, and neat trips are right there. Just pick what you want and go. I don't think you could go wrong with either one.

People go on trips, for big anniversaries? LOL! We haven't ever done that! For our first anniversary and mere months before I got pregnant, with Sarah, (not that we weren't trying, though), we spent a weekend at an Embassy Suites near us. That was nice. It would be fun to take a big trip, for our 20th this year, but since that coincides with the first year of college for Sarah, I don't see that happening.

I hope you find something fun and have a good time!

I am a nice hotel person. Since we don't get away from the kids much, I certainly enjoy the space and quiet time. Not to mention the romantic room time. I guess you can have that on the cruise too, but I am way too claustraphobic.

We spent our ten year anniversary in Maui with no kids. We stayed at the Ritz (which I hear is now closed) and it was amazing. We've never been on a cruise or to an all-inclusive resort. We have never been disappointed with a nice hotel. Something with a spa for me and golf for dh. If your just looking for a margarita and a tan, you won't go wrong just going to a really nice hotel.
Last year we took the kids to the Big Island. We stayed at the Fairmont. I would do that trip again in a heartbeat! We all LOVED the Big Island.
Happy planning!!!

Sorry I won't be any help here, I know, for our 10 year we went for dinner at the Melting Pot and then to the Blue Horseshoe for Tattoos, but I just wanted to say Happy Anniversary anyways!
