The book by James Patterson, not the movie with Sandra Bullock. I saw the audio book the other day and read the back. It sounded really good. Has anyone read it?

I haven't read the book. I enjoyed the movie. Maybe the book is better, though!

I loved the book... but you should know that it is a sequel to When the Wind Blows. So, you may be at a bit of a disadvantage reading it if you haven't read the first one.

2 more books to read, then! LOL!

I love all of his books!

I'm a huge Patterson fan, but haven't read this one. I prefer his Alex Cross books. Let me know how this one is!

Thanks, Angela. That is good to know. Dawn, I think that the movie is an entirely different story line than the book, by a different author. I believe the movie is about reincarnation, kind of like "Somewhere in Time". Am I right?

By Dawnk777 on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 - 11:45 pm:

I don't recall it being about reincarnation, though. The guy buys the lakehouse and keeps getting notes from Sandra Bullock, in the mailbox. He is in 2004 and she's in 2006.

Haven't read the book.

Saw the movie last weekend. It was really good. No reincarnation going on in the movie. My DH called it a fairytale. :)

The movie with Sandra Bullock and the book by Patterson are two completely different story lines. I saw the movie and read the book :)
