I took my kids to see this today. We all thought it was very funny! If you want to go see a family movie which is not animated, this is a great choice :)

I have seen the previews and it looks like a funny, family movie. We are taking the kids camping this year (but in a tent instead of an RV). I'm a little nervous as I haven't been camping in years and dh has been only a few times in his life.

We rented this today! I thought it was hilarious and so did my DH and my 17yo dd! We laughed so hard!

Mommyof5, did you ever go on your camping trip? How did it go?

We rented this recently, too. It's hilarious! Makes me want to go camping, I think.:-)

Dawn - Yes we did go camping this summer. We did a loop around Lake Michigan. We camped for part of the time and got hotels for the rest. DH didn't seem to understand that it is a MAJOR pain to pull up your camp every night and move to another...particularly in a tent. We had a few camping moments of our own that rivaled those in RV. The first night dh didn't sleep at all and stood "guard" outside the tent as this particular camp ground had some large, hungry raccoons that were not the least bit afraid of humans. The people in the tent next to our found them INSIDE their tent scrounging around. That was a perfect time to stress to the kids the importance of NOT eating inside your tent. LOL

Yikes! Someday, when you are reliving those moments, those raccoons will seem funny, but I bet it wasn't that night! They knew where the goodies were!

I would think it would be a pain to always be setting up or taking down a campsite. The closest I have come to camping by Lake Michigan was sharing an evening at a Kohler Andrae State Park campsite with my sister and her family. We just stayed for the evening and went home. They stayed the night out there, though.
