My little guy loves science things of all kinds. Before I forget I wanted to share this book series that he loves. There are so few really great really fun easy to read science focused books for the 3rd to 7th grader.

These look like cartoon books but they are so cool for the science kid to read. They're published by Kingfisher( love their books). They were all created by Basher and written by Dan Green and they include a poster for each book.
Titles:

Biology as We Know It
The Periodc Table: Elements with Style
Physics: Why Matter Matters

Sound dry but their written in a tongue in cheek cool kid friendly style.
