Has anyone read his books? I've read two so far, The Alchemist and The Devil and Miss Prym. I need someone to discuss these with because they left me with a lot of questions. I feel like I'm back in school!

I might read two more of his books, I'm not sure yet.

Hi Enchens,

Didn't see this post before (I have a sort of news blackout around holidays when we're traveling). What an interesting man he is. I love the Brazilians such a culture of paradoxes and a blend of amazing ethnicities, traditions and spiritualities. I would like to read his book, The Pilgrimage about his trip along the Way of St James in Spain (maybe I can get it on CD to play in my car - need more time to read but I spend a lot of time in a car).

He has some free internet books (haven't read them yet)

You know more about him than I do but the clips of his movies on YouTube are really interesting. Especially Veronika Decides to Die starring Sarah Michelle Geller (Buffy, The Vampire Slayer)(Is that out or did it come and go already - I see many things on video months or years later than release when I discover a book or an author sometimes how its rated keeps me away). He has a lot of stories, commentaries on his writings etc. very personal.

Interesting I think is his 60 seconds for Peace (its in English).
