OK, what's up with the ending? Were Lynette and Mrs. M in L's house, and the others were all crushed under the rubble of Mrs. M's house? I'm sure they're all going to be ok, but what a powerful scene with Lynette!

Mrs. M's house was destroyed, but remember that the rest were in the basement beneath. One of the stars said that two cast members would die - well, we had Victor and the crazy chick who had the affair with Adam. A teaser also said someone would lose a husband - I'm assuming that's Victor, since he and Gabby were still married.

I read in an article that they actually physically destroyed that house, and didn't use computer generated stuff as much as used wind machines and cranes for dropping cars, etc.

I agree it was powerful - and living in an area that's prone to tornados (particularly in the spring), it gave me chills.

I have been reading boards about DH this year, and from what I understand, two REGULARS will die. Obviously, Victor is one, and from everything I've seen Ida is the other. In the beginning of the episode, Mary Alice said "Someone will lose a husband, and everyone will lose a friend."
This episode was so awesome!! The last scene with Lynette was intense, can you imagine?? I'm dying to see hoe this plays out, and it looks like it will be a long wait, at least a month. They have part 2 of this episode taped, but want to run it when they have new episodes to follow. Unfortunately, they don't have any new episodes taped beyond 4.10 (I think that's the epi number for the next one) because of the Writer's Guild strike. I'm thinking GIVE THE WRITERS WHAT THEY WANT!!! We need more DH!!!!
Kay, you're right about the house, apparently that house was used on a few different shows, and is somewhat a piece of cinema history, but they did level it.
On a sidenote, why are all the people who play the "other woman" such as Sylvia, and the one who Tom had that daughter with, crazy as all get out? It seems that Wisteria Lane cheaters only pick the crazy broads!!

I thought it was a very powerful episode too. Yes I believe it was the old lady's house that was just gone with Lynettes family in the basement. Lynette and Mrs, McClusky(sp?) were in Lynettes bathroom after chasing the cat. I figured Victor would die, no one really cares about him anyway. But they said that "everyone will lose a friend" and I don't really think he is everyone's friend. I'm wondering who else died, Lynette's dh?

I hop we don't have to wait too long!!!

When the episode was over, I said to dh, "It's about time they got back to the GOOD episodes!" I've missed these emotional dramas. Patti, if Tom dies, I will honestly cry. He's my favorite husband on the show. I truly hope that the writers are able to get back to work soon. I'm going to start going through withdrawals!
