With all the great HBO shows over {sniffle for Six Feet Under, Sopranos and Sex & the City}, I've moved on and found Dexter on Showtime! Completely hooked after the first show, which I've been watching On Demand because I never knew about it, so by the time I'm finished with the first season, the second will be starting in real time!

Anyone else seen it???

I've never heard of it but will check it out. I ordered Showtime a few weeks ago so I could watch the third season of Weeds. It's such a great show. You can rent the first two seasons on dvd and catch up on the third. It really makes me feel like my life isn't that bad. It's very funny, too. I tivo it on Monday nights and my girlfriend comes over with her kids for dinner on Tuesdays. We feed the kids in the other room, watch the show in my room and laugh!
When does Dexter come on?
I hear you about the great HBO shows that are gone. I also watch Big Love on HBO and I think the season ended this past Sunday.

I wanted to watch Weeds, but they didn't have back seasons on Demand, and I hate coming into something in the middle!

I'm not sure what night Dexter is on, but I know the second season is starting end of Sept or early Oct.

Dexter is forensic pathologist, who specializes in blood spatter pattern and is a bit of a crime guru among his collegues... He also happens to be a serial killer!!! Dexter is played by the same guy who played David, the gay brother in Six Feet Under!!!

We like Dexter. He's a bit disturbed, but we still like him. We saw the DVD's for the first season at Blockbuster last night. We'll have to rent them because we did miss a few episodes and forgot to replay them.

even though i think season 2 isnt as good as season 1 i will say the last few episodes have been REALLY good. the way things are building up i cant wait to see what kind of ending that have cooked up.

I was afraid of the same thing. The first season was just so good, that what could really compare? But, you're right! Especially this week's episode!! You always knew something would happen with Dexter and Doaks, but this??? I can't wait for next week!!! (And I can't believe there's only three episodes left! )
