Thats the story, everyone should read it and see how stupid this women is! It is so clear that she has no daughter, and of course she knows everything. I am not againt teaching about sex,far from it.I think it should be taught alot more than it is.Also, teachig kids (teens) about oral sex is fine with me, I think they should know about alot of things..........it's the comment she makes about young girls......here is what she says........."If you're in a situation where you cannot get out of sex, offer a blow job. I'm not embarrassed to tell them."
Am I reading ths right?.... If the guy your with won't take no for an answer, your supposed to offer oral sex? Can we just say DATE RAPE? I think saying NO is a perfectly good answer,if thats not good enough I always told my daughter to scream bloody murder. Maybe I am reading this wrong,I hope so.

Well she is very lucky that I was not the mother of the girl. I certainly hope that the comment was taken out of context, because that is horrible.
How is oral sex safer anyway, if bodily fluids are exchanged?

By Crystal915 on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 - 01:12 am:

Goodness, I hope this was taken WAY out of context. She has always beena big supporter of AIDS awareness, and must certainly know oral sex is just as dangerous as any other contact. Actually, I think it's more so, because people are less likely to use a condom than they would during intercourse. Wow... one might say Sharon's gone off the deep end!

Well, I too hope it was taken out of context, but IMO, she had no business speaking to the girl in the first place.

And ditto Crystal!

Ditto everyone! How ridiculous! So she's saying there's no way out of sex, so just comply with SOME sexual act? That's ludicrous and a terrible message for ALL women, not just vulnerable teens. I've never been a Sharon Stone fan anyway. She does have two children, one of which I believe is an infant girl. (adopted)

Is she out of her mind? Oral sex is just as dangerous! What right does she have to tell another woman's child about sex? The comment "If you're in a situation where you cannot get out of sex, offer a blow job", sounds like a form of rape to me.

I repeat...nothing shocks me anymore.... :(

Besides the safety issue, what about your daughters SENSE OF DIGNITY. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By Kym on Sunday, April 2, 2006 - 04:22 pm:

On this same note, for those of us who send our kids to public school, it's very important to either educate yourself on the sex ed policy or deny your child access to it. My friend will be my daughters sex ed teacher next year and after discussing it with her, i will not be allowing my daughter to attend. She is teaching/instructing on a very scientific point of view, which is fine, but than she allows open questions via a handwritten note, from all students, reads them aloud and answers, some questions require some sense of morality for an answer and her views are WAY opposite of mine:)

I still say the answer to an over agressive young man is a swift knee in the crotch, but maybe I was raised wrong:)

By Cocoabutter on Sunday, April 2, 2006 - 11:49 pm:

Many single young women these days have NO sense of dignity when it comes to sex. On my local radio I heard a call in show on the subject of casual teen and adult sex, and one man called in, said he was 27, and that the reason he was still single is that women dump him if he doesn't give them sex by the 3rd date.
