Moms View Message Board: Prayer Requests: Prayers for a young boy.
Someone was burning some brush and poured gasoline on it and the flames came up and caught the boy on fire. He's only 12 year old and suffered burns on his back and arm. It's going to be a long road to recovery for him.
Praying for his recovery, both physical and mental.
Sure will be in my thoughts. My uncle caught himself on fire working on a car when I was in high school.. It was a terrible thing to have to see and it was a terrible thing for him to go through..
Actually, come to think of it, I have witnessed two men catch themselves on fire working on cars. That just came to me out of no where. I was like 8 when the first one happened and I had almost forgot.. Both gas fires of course.
Prayers for healing for him, and prayers for his family, to help them deal with this.

What a tragic situation. He and his family will be in my prayers.

The boy is doing well. He was released from the hospital last week and he may only need a skin graft on his arm.

Update... the boy went back to school last week. He also won't be needing any skin grafts.
