From today's paper - so sad - and only going 5MPH:

Truck driven by 12-year-old girl crashes, killing 2

Associated Press
Published on: 03/31/06
LUDOWICI, Ga. — A truck being driven by a 12-year-old girl went off the road and overturned, killing the driver and an 8-year-old girl.

Two boys — ages 2 and 4 — and another 12-year-old girl were injured in the Thursday crash, which happened in Long County southwest of Savannah, the Georgia State Patrol said.

The truck was traveling down a road around 5 p.m. when the girl lost control of the truck, said William Goodwin of the State Patrol. The Ford F-250 overturned and came to rest in a ditch.

The children were from two different families, Goodwin said, but he said he did not know which ones were related.

The names of the five children were not immediately released.

The truck was owned by the 12-year-old driver's parents and she was driving it with their permission, Goodwin said. The parents could face charges, he said.

Ditto Trina. I cannot understand how parents of a 12 y/o could NOT know their vehicle was missing.......inexcusable..........

she was driving it with their permission

The parents could face charges (I would hope so)

Wow! I don't even know what to say about that....
