Frog baby shower theme?
Any ideas? She is so difficult, lol.
Hmmmmmmmmm.... you might do something with lily pad type decor and frogs on them......maybe on a cake? I'm sure there are some creative cooking moms here who might have suggestions for appetizers/food that fall into the lily pad thing......
I'm not very imaginative or creative when it comes to things like that, but it seems to me that for someone who is, there's a bunch of stuff you could do with frogs, etc.
Go to Baby's R Us they have tons of Frog things. I am a frog freak my whole kitchen and dining room are in frogs so is my office at work. I have been collecting since I was like 14. All frogs. Everywhere!!!
Tonya-Do you know where I can get stationary to print the invitations on. I would prefer to be able to download it and print it myself.
Did you try Staples for stationary? They have tons.
I haven't left the house (blushing), I'm not supposed to be driving by myself until my testing is over. I'll check and see if they have anything online.

A frog baby shower theme can be especially cute because there are a lot of fun things that can be done with frogs. If one of the parents really likes frogs, the frog theme is definitely the way to go.
The first thing you’ll want to do is go to your party supply store and pick up some frog decorations. Frogs are actually quite popular and you’ll find that many party stores carry a huge selection of frog and other reptile related supplies. Think about finding or making lily pads to act as place mats or napkins to keep with your theme. You’ll be able to choose from realistic looking frogs and cute frogs, cute frogs might be nice for your baby shower. You’ll also want to choose shower favors for each of your guests. Chocolate shaped like frogs might be fun, stuffed frogs, or anything else frog related will make your guests smile.
A frog shaped cake is a great idea as well and will gain the admiration of all the guests. You can usually find cake molds for just about everything online, or get with a baker in your area that can help you create an awesome frog shaped or frog inspired cake. A frog cake will allow you to keep with your theme and also have something delicious to eat! However, if you can’t get a frog cake you can always buy or make cake squares and have small frogs made of green icings or frogs on a stick that you just push into the cake. Regardless, your frog theme will be perfected with a frog cake or cake squares.
A game of leapfrog might be fun at the baby shower party, and it will also allow for you to keep with the frog theme. You don’t have to go overboard with the frog theme, but do have some fun with it and your guests and the mom-to-be will thank you for it!

When you have a coed baby shower you have to be willing to think outside of the box where baby shower games are concerned because you want games that everyone will feel relatively comfortable playing. Of course, baby shower games are sort of cheesy and silly in their very nature, but men won’t always be comfortable playing some of the more girly games. So, leapfrog is a great choice!!
Since the game is coed it’s a safe bet that many of the people will be there together, as couples. For this game simply have each couple make a team, and pair up people who may be there are singles. Then, you’re going to have a good old-fashioned leapfrog game. This game can be made even more interesting by adding pregnant bellies or having each hopper hold a baby as they jump. If the baby hits the ground, the couple is disqualified. The couple that reaches the end of the course the fastest wins the game! If you have a lot of couples and not much room, you can have several different rounds and then a final round with all the winners.
This coed baby shower game is a great way to break the ice and get everyone laughing. There are sure to be falls and spills, and that will just add to the hilarity. The prize for the game could be a big stuffed frog, or a pair of them for the couple. This is a great baby shower game for a shower that has a tropical, frog, or jungle theme!
