Its her 1st baton competition! She is so excited:) I am just hoping she doesn't have a problem on stage when she sees all the people. I think she will be ok.
Wish us luck:)

Kathy, crossing my fingers for her! Tell her to *break a leg* - and tell her to imagine all those people in the audience sitting there naked! LOL That's what I was always told to do when you get stage fright!

By Luvn29 on Saturday, March 25, 2006 - 09:41 am:

Oh how exciting! I hope she just falls in love with the competition side of it! Good luck to both of you!

Oh- I love baton twirling and with all the cheerleader crap that goes on now- it's a lost art!

Good luck to her.

Good luck to her!

Thanks, LOL Karen! If I told Alissa about the naked audience she would tell everyone and her instructor would kill me...LOL It should be fun to see the younger class.

Hope it goes well! This year was the first year that my youngest two dds were on a competition dance team (my older 2 have been doing it for 4 years). I think I was more nervous than they were. Let us know how it goes.

By Dana on Saturday, March 25, 2006 - 11:43 pm:

So how did it go?

By Bea on Sunday, March 26, 2006 - 11:32 pm:

Well!!! How did it go????

By Kernkate on Monday, March 27, 2006 - 09:11 am:

It went excellent! Alissa and the 7 others ranging from 3-5 years old, that are in her group did a Great job! Alissa knew the whole routine and didn't have to watch the others to know what she was doing. We will find out the results out tomorrow at baton lessons, since it was an all day thing and we left after Alissa was done.
I was Very proud of my little girl.:)
