Catherin.... How's that new job going???
Since you had a full week, and a weekend in, wondering how that new job went!!!
I hope that everything is working out well with your schedule and with the kids!
It's going great! I'm sooooo busy though. Trying to keep up with the minimum of housework (the kids are a great help!) and dinner every night and my single mom's group and the like.
I'm loving the job though! I'm learning lots and lots. I started taking the first couple of customers calls today. I was calling customers about things but not taking incoming calls. The two that I took today went really well! My office manager said I handled the first one perfectly and did well on the second one too!  YAY!!
I get so much positive reinforcement. The guy who's training me says that everyone thinks I'm doing a great job and I'm keeping up on the work I've even caught some mistakes that he's made and got them corrected He said today that he's starting to run out of things for me to work on. I left some work today unfinished to tackle in the morning. I need simply accounting to do some of the work I'm doing and it's only on two computers in the office currently so that slows things down a bit but they're working on getting it put onto my pc!
The scheduling around the kids is pretty good. We're getting up pretty early but they're adjusting and I like being at work a bit early it gives me time to settle in a bit.
I'm working the annual general meeting on the 6th. I asked specifically today what my job is going to be so that I know in advance. It's basically going to just be registration and I'll be working with people who have done it before and I know I can handle it. My confidence in myself is increasing everyday and I'm much happier working then I was staying at home after the course I was taking finished especially with the little ones at school.
I absolutely love all the challenges that I'm getting and the people I work with are all wonderful!
I could probably go on and on but that's it in a nutshell and I have to go and wash my girl's hair and continue making dinner! LOL!
I'm so am happy, Catherin, that your new career and family life are going so smoothly! I am thrilled for you!
