Have you ever been to King of Prussia Mall? Since we've been doing visitation for our foster daughter on Saturdays and we're in that area, we found out how to get there & WOW!!! That place is awesome! I know you said you live in Glenside. I'm not sure how far away from that mall you are geographically. It's amazing & HUGE! Anyway, just wondering.

I'm not Ginny, but DH lived in that area for about 6mths right before we got married (for Merck) and I agree...WOW! I thought that place was an airport from the outside!!
Ginny, Aaron (DH) lived in West Point I think, or Lancaster.

If we had stayed there we would be broke because I'm a shopper:)

Deanna, sorry to but in, but did your DH work for Merck in Rahway? My dad worked for them for many many years, first as a drug rep and later in research in NJ.

Small world, huh! I go to the Lancaster Outlets occasionally. The Lancaster County line is just a few miles down the road from me. There is a lot of Amish in our area. The Maryland line is within a mile or two away from me also. I'm originally from Baltimore, MD. I live in a wierd area.

Also, I've been shopping WWWWWAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY too much lately so I know what you're saying, Deanna. I got curtains from Bed, Bath & Beyond for 4.99 a piece. I was in Heaven!!!

I think I have been to the King of Prussia Mall once. It's not that far from me, but I am generally not a "big mall" person. I tend to stick to smaller malls, except for going to a mall in NE Philadelphia that has a Levis & Dockers outlet for Christmas gifts. I've been to the Lancaster outlets a couple of times, but only for really expensive items, as it is a long drive and doesn't justify smaller savings. But I remember Greg wanted a particular brand (very expensive) brief case for law school graduation and I think I saved about $125 or $150.

(And, I don't like driving high speed roads much, so I probably wouldn't go there unless someone else was driving.)

My kids both live within a reasonable distance of King of Prussia and LOVE it!! I agree with Ginny, though, I am not much of a mall person..
and I live near Rockaway mall now which is huge..I miss my Viewmont Mall in Scranton Pa!!

I've shopped the Lancaster outlets before. My sister lives outside of Lancaster. :)

Sorry Pam, I just saw this again! :)
My DH worked at the West Point location. I've never heard of Rahway.
