*&*&@#& WEATHER!!!!

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion Archive: Archive March 2006: *&*&@#& WEATHER!!!!
By Ginny~moderator on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 - 08:39 pm:

70 degrees yesterday (SE PA), and 35 degrees tonight. I know, I know, it's March, and it is supposed to be cold in March. But tell that to my daffodils, who have been seduced by the unseasonably warm weather we have been having and are putting out buds like crazy.

Yep! Same here Ginny! Was in the high 60's on Sunday and down to -9 degrees tonight. Ridiculous!

LOL Ginny, I can start emailing you the weather 2 days in advance. We would have been there for your wonderful weather changes this week, my mom was complaining about them last night. It seems every time we get a front, y'all get it 2 days later... it was almost 80 last week, and in the low 50s for a HIGH this week, AC on, AC off, heat on, heat off... it's driving me nuts too!! Warmer weather is on it's way, it was in the high 60s here today!

My daffodils have small buds, even here in WI. They come up early every year, and even though it's cold, they still always bloom. We have 4-5 inches of snow to look forward to on Thursday. They already survived the heavy winds of the last 2 days. They will be okay. One of the kids worried about the snow. I said the snow will insulate them from the cold. I think the bulb flowers are pretty tough!

Same here Ginny. I am so hopeful that since we didnt have much of a winter - only really one or two snowstorms - that we have a long, beautiful, not to hot, spring. I have tons of landscaping to do this year in my yard and I don't do well in the heat.

I knew it was someone from PA who wrote this!

It snowed here last night Ginny in southcentral PA.

We are having the same yucky weather. It was gorgeous the end of last week, near 70 and in the 60's. Yesterday it was in the teens with the windchill, and we are suppose to get snow tonight.

I am so ready for real spring temps. Why does it have to tease us like this. It just makes the cold weather harder to handle!
