Carnival had a good deal this week. They gave you the military discount and a category upgrade. I get the emails. I called and decided to go ahead and book it. Yeah! We don't go until Dec 4. But that gives me time to plan ect... This will be our 10th anniversary celebration. Our anniversary is technically in Sept. but we didn't want to take the chance of cruising during hurricane season. I am sure between now and then I will have tons of questions. Thanks for the advice when I first started thinking about this. I can't wait.

How exciting. We are going on Carnival this August. It will be during Hurricane season LOL.. Our first cruise was 3 yrs ago, also during Hurricane season

On our cruise week, we will be celebrating my sons 12th birthday, our 12 anniversary and my birthday, all within the week of our cruise
We first booked Last April. At that time they did offer a military discount, only if you were currently in the military or retired. My husband didnt qualify because he had only done one enlistment. Then, a couple of months ago, I was reading about how they changed the rules for military discount. So I called our travel agent, and sure enough, my husband now qualified for it. We got 370$ off one room.
