because of heavy snow here! We are expected to get 8-10 inches. So no school means no work for me and it a very welcome day off:)
Time to catch up on housework.

I am soooo longing for a snow day here!! We have only had one so far this year and no real snow in forever. It all melted Christmas Day and we haven't had much of anything since. Poor dd got a new sled for Christmas and has never been able to use it!! Enjoy your snow day!!!

We're supposed to get snow this afternoon. DH called during his commute to work this morning to tell me he heard on the radio that surrounding districts were calling half days. Today just happens to be a Staff Development Early Release day in our district.

Enjoy your day off!

I can't believe I am saying this, but I want some snow before winter ends! We had lots in December, but it was too cold(in the teens and below) for my dks to go out and play in it. We had one other storm in January, but it got warm right after and melted in a few days.

Have a great day!!

Our kids were out two days ago because of a power outage due to a major rain/wind storm. Someone hung a sign up at the school reading "No lights, no water, no toilet, no school!" LOL. The kids and I took full advantage and had a fun day together. :)

Have fun! I think yoru storm is staying just south of us, so we are only supposed to get 1-3 inches.

Enjoy your day off!

We didn't get anything here. They were calling for icey mixture but it's just all rain.

Maybe March will be our snowy month.

Have fun:)

How is your job going Kath?

We had too many mixed messages today. First there was an early dismissa, then the school was closed - not sure what was going on. My son's preschool follows the regular school district calendar. I brought him because the weather didn't seem so bad, but when we pulled into the lot we were waved away.
We do have an "emergency call chain" but I never get the call early enough to avoid leaving.

We ended up going to the library and having the children's section all to ourselves. It was a lot of fun.

Gotta love my husband's Audi in the snow. I don't think I'll give it back to him until spring tee hee.

It was 68, sunny and breezy here.
We have not had good snow here in 4 years. I want some. But the sunshine was nice.

I guess you'd hate for me to tell you that it was beautifully sunny and 85 degrees here with all of the spring flowers in glorious bloom. DH will have to start mowing again in the next week or two.

LOL Pam:)
The weather here again today is cold 19 right now with snow flurries.
I can not wait for spring.

By Dawnk777 on Saturday, March 4, 2006 - 08:30 am:

I woke up to 19, but the sun is shining brightly. They said on the radio that we could get 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow. Ugh.

By Debbie on Saturday, March 4, 2006 - 10:06 am:

It is cold here too, but sunny with no wind. I think we should hit 40-45. Yea! But, tomorrow we are suppose to get 2-4 inches too. I don't mind since it is the weekend. My dks would like a chance to play in the snow since this will be our last winter here. St. Louis doesn't really get much snow and it definitely doesn't snow much in Texas.
