Did anyone here that there was another female teacher that was found guilty of having sex with an 11 yr old male student. I apologize because I can't remember if it was fox news or abc news where I heard about it from, but it left me shaking my head!!! Apparently this woman was a good teacher and had taught at that particular school district for nine years. What is the problem with these women?! It boggles my mind that this goes on, had she been a sexual predetor (sp)that was never caught, or made a bad choice or what? What do these women see in a small child that??!! It just makes me sick to my stomach, my youngest ds will be ten, it makes me sick that we have people around us even teaching our children...

My boys are 10 and 12. I can't even imagine what she was thinking! Sad :(

I by no means condon this behavior. I think she is probably sick and demented. However somehow I think I understand it better when I don't think of my tiny little boy. My middle son is 10, he is 110 pounds and a little over 5 foot tall. He is not the tallest in his class. And he is so sweet and caring and hasn't gotten into those macho games with girls, he takes candy to girls, passes sweet note. The innocence of affection in a young boy just can't be matched. I figure that the teacher probably just can't decifer that it really isn't her that he is in love with, but that is just how he is, but maybe she has been treated so poorly in her life...I don't know. I guess what I am trying to see is how one could fall in love with such a young boy, but the idea of sex with a young boy is disturbing to me, so that is where i see the sickness in her.

And yet, these women who do this will get off. They wont spend a day in jail. There is no difference in what they are doing and a man who rapes a little girl of the same age. The laws are so messed up.

I know last week up around Tulsa Oklahoma they had a teacher female who was caught having sex with a student. I guess the students parents went to the police. Thats all we have heard on it. I think the boy was in him mid teens. It is just wrong. whats the world coming to. we can't send or Children to school it use to be a safe place.

There was a janitor in Columbus, Ohio that was going into the girls bathroom while they were in there. A little girl told her mom and her mom contacted the school. Turns out other little girls are coming forward too.. He was a janitor at that school for years.. Here is an article I found on it..

Disciplinary Hearing for Alleged Peeping Janitor

It doesn't cover the whole story.. But I can't find a link to the whole story..

My Jr year Psych teacher in FL was fired for sleeping with a Senior, she was only in her mid-twenties, and he was 18, so nothing illegal or sick, but definitely a poor choice on her part. Now, as for 11 year old boys, call me naive but I didn't think boys were able to "function" as men at that age, until recently. However, of my guy friends, a lot of them "lost their virginity" around that age to older girls, babysitters, friends of sisters, whatever. I think that's rape, even if the girl is under 18... an 11 year old doesn't have the emotional maturity to consent to sex. This teacher needs serious help, she's been put in a position of trust and molested that child, no matter how you look at it. Every day I find something that makes me lean more and more towards homeschooling my children.

And Nanaoie, that's not entirely true, Mary Kay Letourneau (SP??) did go to jail, although her punishment was no where near as severe as a man's would be. I think women who do this SHOULD be punished as severely as male sex offenders, by all means.
